Friday May 8, 2015, at 11.30 am, in the Council Room “V. Foa” of the Faculty of Political Sciences, Prof. Giuseppe Galasso, emeritus professor of the University of Naples ‘Federico II’, will hold a Lectio magistralis on the theme The European nation / La nazione europea.

The event is expected to be attended by prof. Luigino Rossi, Dean of the Faculty of Political Sciences, by prof. Annibale Elia, Director of the Department of Political, Social and Communication Sciences, and prof. Massimo Pendenza, Director of the Center for European Studies.

The initiative is organized by the Center for European Studies, activated at the Department of Political, Social and Communication Sciences, whose purpose is the promotion and enhancement of research on society, history, politics and European culture of lecturers, researchers, fellows, scholars of the subject, doctors and PhD students, from different disciplinary areas, belonging to the Department in which it is based. Focused on the Department, the Center is however open to collaborations with professors and researchers from other Departments or Centers of the University of Salerno, other Italian and foreign universities, as well as centers specialized in the same sector or similar.
